‘Twas the Night Before Critter-Free Christmas: A Holiday Pest Prevention Poem
‘Twas the night before Christmas, and all through the house,
Not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse.
But hold on a minute, don’t rest easy just yet,
Critters might be planning a holiday fête.
‘Twas the night before Christmas, all snug in your bed,
Visions of raccoons danced in your head.
They were seeking out warmth, a cozy retreat,
In your attic, they thought, would be really sweet.
Seal up the gaps, oh so snug and so neat,
To avoid any critter’s grand holiday feat.
From the rooftop to the foundation, every crack and hole,
Ensure your home’s critter-proof, make it your goal.
Up on the rooftop, what’s that pitter-patter?
Squirrels making nests, what a clatter!
In the eaves, they’d snuggle, all snug and so sly,
Plan their eviction before the big guy.
Trim back the branches, oh trim them with glee,
So squirrels can’t leap onto the roof, you see.
Keep them away from your warm, cozy nest,
A critter-free home, oh that’s the best.
The Raccoons Were Curled Up, All Cozy and Round
Raccoons in the chimney, what’s that sound?
Curled up, all cozy, they thought they found bliss,
But we’ll send them packing with a holiday twist.
Chimney caps tight, like a holiday bow,
Keep raccoons away, let them know.
With a festive cheer and a critter-free call,
Varmint Masters will ensure peace for all.
So, on this Christmas Eve, as you tuck into bed,
Rest easy, no critters causing dread.
With preventive measures and professionals near,
May your Christmas be critter-free and full of good cheer!
